Wall Cap
Wall cap or capstone is a shielding and decorative feature placed on top of a wall. It protects the top of the wall from water penetration, weathering, and other forms of moisture damage. Similar to a water table, a wall cap helps divert rainwater away from the wall’s surface. Usually, they are installed at the top of retaining walls, garden walls, parapet walls, or other vertical surfaces.
